Monitoring the overgrowth of forest belts with the Kanopus-V spacecraft
07 March 2024
Analysis of remote sensing data with the Canopus-B spacecraft in the IMC made it possible to reconstruct in detail overgrowths of trees and shrubs and identify individual stages of this process.
The boundaries of trees were accurately identified and the area of the underlying surface was calculated, as well as classification and training of the boundaries of the zone of interest were carried out to identify violations of forest boundaries.
The result of solving this thematic problem is a vector map with attribute information of surface areas, as well as all vector classified layers.
