Russian ISS crew congratulates compatriots on Cosmonautics Day

Russian cosmonauts Alexey Ovchinin, Ivan Wagner and Kirill Peskov from aboard the International Space Station congratulated their compatriots on Cosmonautics Day. The video was published by Roscosmos.

The ISS crew members emphasized that space in our country has always been more than a profession. Yuri Gagarin's historic flight marked the beginning of a new era and gave a powerful impetus to the development of science and technology. The courage of the pioneer and the work of thousands of people were behind the feat of the first flight into space.

"Today we are glad to see that more and more children are showing interest in cosmonautics again," they noted.

Modern astronauts continue to work - they conduct scientific experiments in zero gravity, the results of which make life on Earth better.

Alexey Ovchinin, Ivan Wagner and Kirill Peskov also thanked the employees of the rocket and space industry and wished them success and new victories.
