A meteorite fell in Yakutia

In the evening, on December 3, a meteorite fell on the territory of Russia. It collided with the Earth at about 19 o'clock Moscow time.

The meteorite fell in Yakutia, between the settlements of Olekminsk and Lensk. It burned up quickly in the atmosphere and did not harm anyone. Local residents filmed many videos of his flight.

The meteorite burned down in a matter of seconds. However, a bright flash in the sky could be seen from afar.

The approximate size of the meteorite is 70 centimeters. He was caught both on surveillance cameras and on the phones of the fastest eyewitnesses. It is noticeable that the meteorite flew close over the houses, but, fortunately, collapsed far from them.
