The Russian private company Sputnix (part of the Sitronics Group) has launched into orbit two Earth remote sensing devices "Zorky-2M" and four satellites of the automatic identification system (AIS) SITRO-AIS for tracking ships. This is stated in the company's Telegram message.

Telemetry was received from all satellites, they were taken to "work" by the company's Mission Control Center. According to experts, the SITRO-AIS space group has 28 specialized vehicles after launch.

The Zorky-2M satellites are modern and ultra-compact. They allow you to obtain images of the earth's surface in four spectral ranges, with a resolution of 2.5 to 2.8 meters per pixel. Two such vehicles are already operating in orbit.

Other launched space "hard workers" are cubesats equipped with equipment for receiving and transmitting signals of the automatic identification system from ships to ground stations. Their task is to control and ensure the safety of navigation, including along the Northern Sea Route.

Earlier it was reported in the media that Sputnik plans to launch more than 100 spacecraft by the end of 2024.
